Mangalore :

Deeksha, a student of 2010-12 MBA batch of Mangalore Institute of Technology and Engineering (MITE), Moodbidri, secured the first rank in VTU MBA examination conducted in 2012. She is the first ever student in the Mysore zone of VTU to secure the first rank.

She was awarded four gold medals for having secured first rank – highest marks and topper in master of business administration.

The gold medals conferred on Deeksha include Prof MR Doreswamy gold medal, R N Shetty gold medal, Jain University gold medal and VTU gold medal.

She received the award and honour in the VTU convocation held at University Campus, Belgaum on Friday last.
